Overview

General Information
The 68th American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting will take place from September 26–30, 2026, at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts. The theme for this ASTRO 2026 Congress is "Data to Dialogue: Communicating Radiotherapy's Value to Advance Care. There will be radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and industry executives attending this 68th Congress of the American Society for Radiation Oncology.
The Foundation
The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) was founded in 1958 as the American Club of Therapeutic Radiologists. The aim was to give the emerging field of radiation therapy its own distinct voice separate from general radiology. Today, ASTRO has grown into the world’s premier radiation oncology society, boasting a global membership of more than 10,000 radiation oncologists, medical physicists, nurses, and biologists dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through professional education, clinical research, and advocacy.

The Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, also known as the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, is the largest convention center in the Northeastern United States. It has 516,000 square feet of contiguous, virtually column-free exhibit space. It is a premier venue for global events, including massive international medical congresses, major trade shows, and conventions. The center features 84 fully-configurable meeting rooms and a massive 40,020-square-foot ballroom offering panoramic views of the city skyline and harbor. The main exhibit space features highly flexible configurations that can be separated or linked into a single expansive layout.

How to reach?

The Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center is approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
  • The MBTA Silver Line (Rapid Transit Bus) connects the airport and the downtown rail hubs directly to the venue.
  • You can take the SL1 bus from any airport terminal baggage claim directly to the World Trade Center Station.
  • For those coming from South Station via Amtrak and commuter rail lines, the venue is a 15-minute walk southeast. You can also get a quick single-stop ride on outbound Silver Line buses (SL1, SL2, or SL3).
  • A taxi or rideshare from Logan Airport to the Menino Convention & Exhibition Center takes approximately 8 minutes.
